Birds of Tokyo

Australian act Birds of Tokyo were the headline act for a unique Mastercard sponsored event held at Cockatoo Island. Playing to an intimate crowd of 1500 in a disused warehouse, the show was a huge success and was another unusual event carried out by The Sound Campaign. Megadeck was employed to provide raised staging with various elements. The clear acrylic stages worked a treat allowing multiple light shows to radiate through the stages. Mesh stages were included in the set up for extra impact, making use of smoke machines and pyrotechnics. Simple ply top stages covered the down stage area and carpet top risers for the drummer and keyboardist.
